Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? after 13 years as an office manager

I have 14 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an office manager. I am in Fresno, in case local advice matters. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
