Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? after 12 years as an event coordinator

We are a household of 12 and need to cut costs quickly. I am in Jacksonville, in case local advice matters. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $350 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
