Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?

I have 14 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a web developer. It has been weighing on me all week. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $1000 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
