Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - 9 months and counting

We are a household of 10 and need to cut costs quickly. Thank you in advance. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $950 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
