Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?

My income dropped to unemployment benefits and my bills have not changed. It has been weighing on me all week. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. Did any lender work with you?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $1000 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
