Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?

We are a household of 15 and need to cut costs quickly. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $450 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
