Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?

We are a household of 11 and need to cut costs quickly. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $1000 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
