Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?

I have 13 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an administrative assistant. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $350 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
