Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - 5 months and counting

We are a household of 4 and need to cut costs quickly. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $200 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
