Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - 4 months and counting

I have 4 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a nurse's aide. I am in St. Louis, in case local advice matters. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $850 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
