Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - 4 months and counting

I have 4 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an accounts payable clerk. I worked as an accounts payable clerk before this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
