Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?

I have 3 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a janitorial supervisor. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
