Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first?

I have 5 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a quality inspector. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. Did any lender work with you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
