Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - 21 weeks in

We are a household of 17 and need to cut costs quickly. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What did you cut first?

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
