Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - 12 months and counting

We are a household of 7 and need to cut costs quickly. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am nervous about the credit card minimums.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $800 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
