Budget after a layoff: what did you cut first? - 11 months and counting

I have 11 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a paralegal. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What helped the most?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $1000 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
