Benefits end date after a layoff - what worked for you?

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. There are 18 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have an appointment next week. How did you confirm your end date?

Dental and vision sometimes end on a different date from medical. Mine did.

Keep a copy of any coverage confirmation in case of later disputes.
