Benefits end date after a layoff - what worked for you?

I am not sure what date my benefits stop after being let go as a logistics coordinator. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. Did coverage match what HR said?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Dental and vision sometimes end on a different date from medical. Mine did.
