Benefits end date after a layoff - what worked for you?

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. I worked as a copywriter before this. The letter is unclear about dental and vision. How did you confirm your end date?

Ask HR to confirm the exact date in writing. I also called the insurance company to double-check.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
