Benefits end date after a layoff, payroll clerk here

I am not sure what date my benefits stop after being let go as a payroll clerk. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. Did coverage match what HR said?

Keep a copy of any coverage confirmation in case of later disputes.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
