Benefits end date after a layoff (Knoxville)

I am not sure what date my benefits stop after being let go as an HR coordinator. It has been a long 6 weeks. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. How did you confirm your end date?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Ask HR to confirm the exact date in writing. I also called the insurance company to double-check.
