Benefits end date after a layoff - first time posting

I am not sure what date my benefits stop after being let go as a call-centre agent. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have an appointment next week. How did you confirm your end date?

Dental and vision sometimes end on a different date from medical. Mine did.

Ask HR to confirm the exact date in writing. I also called the insurance company to double-check.
