Benefits end date after a layoff - any advice?

I am not sure what date my benefits stop after being let go as a procurement assistant. The letter is unclear about dental and vision. What should I do about appointments?

Keep a copy of any coverage confirmation in case of later disputes.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
