Benefits end date after a layoff after 3 years as a warehouse supervisor

I was told my coverage ends on my last day, but the letter says the end of the month. It has been a long 25 weeks. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. Did coverage match what HR said?

Keep a copy of any coverage confirmation in case of later disputes.
