Benefits end date after a layoff - 8 months and counting

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. How did you confirm your end date?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep a copy of any coverage confirmation in case of later disputes.
