Benefits end date after a layoff

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The letter is unclear about dental and vision. How did you confirm your end date?

Dental and vision sometimes end on a different date from medical. Mine did.

I moved my appointments earlier while coverage was active. It saved me a bill.
