Benefits end date after a layoff - 24 weeks in

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. How did you confirm your end date?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Dental and vision sometimes end on a different date from medical. Mine did.
