Benefits end date after a layoff - 21 weeks in

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have an appointment next week. What should I do about appointments?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I moved my appointments earlier while coverage was active. It saved me a bill.
