Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - what worked for you?

My unemployment benefits end in 22 weeks and I have not found work as a machine operator. I worked as a machine operator before this. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
