Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - what worked for you?

I exhausted my benefits and have 5 interviews lined up. It has been a long 8 weeks. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
