Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - what worked for you?

My unemployment benefits end in 24 weeks and I have not found work as a forklift operator. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
