Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - what worked for you?

My unemployment benefits end in 16 weeks and I have not found work as a welding apprentice. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
