Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - what worked for you?

My unemployment benefits end in 16 weeks and I have not found work as a paralegal. I worked as a paralegal before this. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Where did you get help with bills?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
