Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer (update)

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Where did you get help with bills?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
