Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - first time posting

My unemployment benefits end in 20 weeks and I have not found work as an insurance claims processor. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
