Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - any advice?

My unemployment benefits end in 2 weeks and I have not found work as a mechanic. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
