Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - any advice?

My unemployment benefits end in 20 weeks and I have not found work as an accountant. I am in Cincinnati, in case local advice matters. I am willing to take a temporary job. Did you find short-term work?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
