Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - any advice?

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Food pantries and community kitchens helped us stretch the budget. No shame in using them.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
