Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - any advice?

My unemployment benefits end in 6 weeks and I have not found work as a sales associate. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am willing to take a temporary job. Did you find short-term work?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
