Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer after 7 years as a production planner

My unemployment benefits end in 6 weeks and I have not found work as a production planner. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
