Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer after 6 years as a line cook

My unemployment benefits end in 3 weeks and I have not found work as a line cook. I am willing to take a temporary job. Where did you get help with bills?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
