Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer after 18 years as a machine operator

I exhausted my benefits and have 18 interviews lined up. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
