Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer

My unemployment benefits end in 11 weeks and I have not found work as a bookkeeper. I am in Austin, in case local advice matters. I have savings for about a month. Where did you get help with bills?

Food pantries and community kitchens helped us stretch the budget. No shame in using them.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
