Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - 8 months and counting

My unemployment benefits end in 2 weeks and I have not found work as a line cook. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
