Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
