Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - 5 months and counting

My unemployment benefits end in 3 weeks and I have not found work as a mechanic. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
