Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - 4 months and counting

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
