Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer

My unemployment benefits end in 23 weeks and I have not found work as an IT help-desk technician. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Food pantries and community kitchens helped us stretch the budget. No shame in using them.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
