The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. It has been a long 16 weeks. I have savings for about a month. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
