Benefits are ending soon and I have no offer - 14 months and counting

My unemployment benefits end in 23 weeks and I have not found work as an electrician's helper. I worked as an electrician's helper before this. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
